The Revelstoke Hospice Society is seeking an Executive Director to support this non-profit society for a 15-month period starting in June 2023. This is a temporary position while the incumbent is on Maternity Leave.

The Society is a community-based resource that works in cooperation with health care agencies serving citizens of Revelstoke. This non-profit is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by the community through membership and donations. Our vision is simply that people in our community will receive emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual comfort as they face the final stages of life.  

The Executive Director provides leadership to all planning operations and activities within the Revelstoke Hospice Society, supporting the Board of Directors in Business Management, Fundraising, and Programming activities such as coordination of volunteers.

The Executive Director works 25 hours per week at an hourly rate of $24.00. The Hours of Work are flexible.

If you are someone with good verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, experience in fundraising, and the ability to work independently, this could be the job for you!

You will also need to be proficient in use of computer software programs and demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality.
