Jessica Milaney moved to Revelstoke from Calgary 5 years ago and has not looked back since. Previously in Calgary she worked as a registered nurse at the Alberta Children’s Hospital as well as a nursing instructor with University or Calgary. Upon moving to Revelstoke, she had the opportunity to instruct a Health Care Assistant program with Okanagan College. From there she began nursing at Mount Cartier Court and then soon after took a position as an Operations Manager for both Mount Cartier Court and Community Health.
Jessica now finds herself at home with her three children as well as working closely with her husband who a home builder here in Revelstoke.
Since stepping away from healthcare, Jessica has felt a strong desire to return to a type of work where she can utilize her nursing knowledge and experience as well as her passion for client and family focused care. Joining the Hospice Society board is her opportunity to continue to advocate for clients care and ability to access a dignified and supportive death.
