Helping people find meaning, dignity and peace is at the core of what we do, and that starts well before life’s end.
Palliative Care
Through palliative care, we offer information, companionship, and emotional support. We also provide caregivers a “breather” to have some time for themselves.
Pals Program
Hospice volunteers visit isolated seniors to provide emotional support for those facing difficult times. Developing meaningful relationships before end of life.
Walking Program
Provides residents of Mount Cartier Court the opportunity to participate in casual walks. Volunteers join staff at Mount Cartier Court where they are paired with residents.
Death Cafe
A social conversation about death and life losses once a month. The purpose of a Death Cafe is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.
Grief & Bereavement
Support groups and workshops to provide individuals with emotional, practical and spiritual support to help cope with loss and gain an increased awareness of grief.
