Experts have said that walking could be the best exercise for seniors!
Walking is an effective way to reduce the risk for chronic conditions and improve your overall health. Many seniors benefits from the social interaction brought by the volunteers who participate in the program.
Walks take place each Monday at Mount Cartier Court, 1200 Newlands Rd, at 10:15 am. Each walk lasts 35-45 minutes and often followed by a visit and refreshment. Volunteers are encouraged to fill out necessary documents before they arrive for their first walk.
